WARM AND WELL

Need help with rising costs?

A series of Energy Tea Parties being held in Warminster Civic Hall, hosted by Sustainable Warminster, with the next one this coming Saturday, 23 November.

The idea is that it’s somewhere people either worried about their energy bills or curious what they might be able to do to reduce them can call in for relaxed advice and help, over a cup of tea and a slice of cake.

Thanks to funding from the Centre for Sustainable Energy (who administer energy schemes in collaboration with Wiltshire Council) and Warminster Town Council, Sustainable Warminster, a voluntary organisation, is hosting four more Energy Tea Parties at Warminster Civic Hall on the following dates:

Saturday 23 November 2024

Saturday 25 January 2025
Saturday 22 February 2025
Saturday March 29 2025

As well as energy advice, there will be:

Help understanding energy bills and tariffs
Help checking eligibility for Pension Credit (and therefore Winter Fuel Allowance and other benefits)
Help with fuel debt
Help with draughts and insulation
Help to upgrade the energy performance of your home
Understanding options to decarbonise your home
A wide range of leaflets and advice are also on offer
